Old Diva Challenges

I didn't want to remove the old challenges, so I have put the older ones here.

Challenge 185:  I thought this challenge was going to be difficult. I have not practiced either tangle before this. But, I had the time, so I figured I go for it. I did a few rough tries on scrap paper, in pencil, to get the hang of what I was doing, then pulled out an ATC and jumped in. I like the red/black contrast; but I'm still struggling with shading. Guess that comes with practice.

Challenge 181: This was a new tangle for me, so I used some familiar ones with it. I'm not very happy with it, but I like the variation I tried in the top ribbon of X-did.

Challenge 180: I liked this tangle! Thank you for calling attention to it with this challenge. I decided to ad a bit of color to try out the new Micron pens I bought, too.

Challenge 178: Duotangle using  tangles that begin with my initials. That would be D and B. So, I chose Diamond drops (a favorite) and Borbz which I have been looking at, but hadn't used til now! This turned out to be more challenging than I thought because of all the layers. Here it is!

Challenge 170: Use the Bugles tangle. I have never used this tangle before - but it is very interesting.

Challenge 169: Use a Circle as a string. I DO prefer straight line strings, so this was a challenge.  I finally came up with something - but I think it looks unfinished - but don't know what it needs.

Challenge 168: RAIN tangle. There's been plenty of rain in my part of the world lately. This tangle was quite fitting. I had some ATCs on my desk, so one became my Challenge tangle. My best friend said it looked like the entrance to a carnival Fun House!

Challenge 167: Boy am I embarrassed! My tangle looks like I copied the Diva's tile! I didn't, really! This is just what evolved when I started this challenge. I hope the Diva believes that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

Challenge 165: I was late with this one, but putting it up because I like using Camelia tangle and I liked the way this one came out!

Challenge 164: Earth day challenge. I'm always fascinated by the vastness of the universe. Earth is just a speck - making man just an infinitesimal mote on the planet spinning through a small part of the cosmos. However, it is home, and that makes it the best place to be. Here's how I see the planet - one shining spot amid the rest of the rocks!  LOL . OK, I know the earth doesn't shine, it reflects light. But now you know why I never became a writer!  Here's my Earth Day tile.
